Won't they just take some points off for lateness? Better that then risking plagiarism.
 
Two semesters ago? Eh, go for it. If the professor has no recollection of the paper, you get a good grade, and that's clearly better than not handing anything in.
I think the odds are in your favor. Like others have suggested, make revisions.

It's not plagiarism if you rewrite it in your own words and include your own insights, even as if they're minimal. Just do a damn good job rewriting it in your own voice.
