Who gave permission for MWP to keep shooting? Why is Meeks sitting on the bench while MWP plays the 2?

I can't stand Pau Gasol. He should have been dealt two years ago while his stock was still high. Would love to have had Scola and Martin instead of Gasol right now.

Sloan would go 8-9 deep in his normal rotation his last few seasons.
Okur
Boozer
AK-47
Brewer (Matthews in 2010)
D-Will
Millsap
Korver
Miles
With cameos by Fesenko, Harpring, Price and/or Knight depending on the season.

but none of those dudes were old and past their prime with ailing injuries

The Lakers have played every game like this, thinking just coming out and bouncing the ball should be enough for them to win cause all of the talent they have. Just lazy basketball, turning into frustrating basketball, turning into bad fouls and turn overs.

Mike Brown has no control of this team and the players have no respect for him.

Them not converting on the offensive end is making them frustrated and disappointed and they affects their D cause they don't try as hard and don't get back on transition.

On offensive the spacing is all off, parts of the court are super crowded, they get into their "sets" super late, and at times there is no off the ball movement and one player just holds it.

It just looks like they expect to win by sheer talent. They've never set a tone for this team. If any traincamp the tone and mood of this team was "We're are going to be the best defensive team in the NBA" the players would be more engaged and tuned in, and that would translate into productive offense.

And all that starts with the head coach and the star of the team. But for the Lakers that cohesiveness and respect isn't there between Kobe and Mike Brown.

Kobe started the season saying its My Team and making slight awkward jabs indirectly at mike brown as if Kobe was really the coach, which might be.

We had alllll this discussion last season, about the offense and about Mike Browns control of this team.

The Lakers need to make a change, whether thats front office or gameplan and vision
