After this killer stretch of games, the writing will be officially on the wall. IF this experiment is not going to work...

Trade deadline deal 8)

#3

Chicago gets:
Dwight Howard
Steve Blake
Chris Duhon

Los Angeles gets:
Joakim Noah
Luol Deng
Marquis Teague
V. Radmanovic

whether you like it or not Dwight gives us the best trade options... no one is touching Pau right now :rolleyes

Lakers make out like bandits in that trade :lol

Luol Deng, Noah and Teague? Not to mention, Chicago would have 5 PG's on the teams :rollin

Try again.

Why wouldn't Dwight approve the trade? He'd be in a much better situation in Chicago than he already is in LA.

Chicago would have a lineup of...

Dwight
Boozer
Butler
Hamilton
Rose

That's pretty damn good and they'd def contend with the Bulls/Knicks.

^^^^dwight wont approve cus ADIDAS pays him more than the NBA and they dont want Dwite money and Rose money comin from the same spot.
He been declared CHI is not an option. Theres a bank in every OTHER city.

Now y'all wanna bring Pau off the oak as a anchor for the bench :lol ....

If Dwight doesn't suit up that means Pau will probably start and play alot of 5. If he doesn't show any productivity tonight, idk what to say.

That didn't stop Raja Bell, Shawn Marion and Kurt Thomas from playing defense back in the day.
3 ppl arent a team. everyone was still dropin 100 minimum on the suns. and dantoni teams have always ranked 25 or worse in the league in defense.(only 1 time above 25).

They are being led by someone who doesnt consider D. They all have had different coaches and know what D is and have playd it before. But when you are being led and focused on offense, your not gonna focus as much on defense. you cant have two primary objectives, so one will suffer.

Adjusted for pace, D'Antoni's Suns teams were in the middle of the pack (20th in 2005, 19th in 2006, 16th in 2007, 17th in 2008) defensively.

At this point if the Lakers could get some good young talent and a couple of high picks they have to consider trading Dwight, I don't think he is going to stay IN LA and honestly I don't think I would build a time around him anymore

Dwight Howard
My Heart Is in L.A.
But My Head Is in Orlando

Dwight Howard might be a Los Angeles Laker, but part of him is still a member of the Orlando Magic ... specifically, his head.

In town to play the New York Knicks last month, D12 hit up a hat store in Harlem and wouldn't you know it ... he picked up a hat of his former team.

According to our witness, Dwight didn't just pick up the hat ... HE BOUGHT IT!!!

For the non-sports fans out there ... Dwight was traded away by the Magic last year after he basically whined his way out of town. It was not a happy parting of the ways.

With Dwight set to be a free agent this summer, maybe a reunion isn't as far-fetched as one would think.

fuddddge now we cant get kevin love and rubio. i was hoping we could potentially flip pau and two or three of those other scrubs and some money for them. but love is broken again.

**** outta here.

His option is Atlanta, Houston or Dallas.. All three terrible FA destinations. Atlanta is already out according to most writers because he had no interest in going "home" to begin with. Dallas doesn't give him anything better than LA. Same cap structure, and 1 owner who has proven he has limits to what he spends, including disbanding a Championship Team to save a few million. Also Dallas was with the understanding that Deron would go there as well.

Houston, Dwight was adamant about not going there. He even told the Magic, if you trade me there, it's your choosing, but let Houston know I will leave after the year, no matter what.

Let's not forget who has cap after next season and ability to build for/with him. Also he's not going to let go o $80 million at least in 5 years.

Winning is his goal. But none of those teams give him a significant chance to win over the Lakers in the next year, 2 years, or 5 years. Also he wants the spotlight, and opportunities to be the face. He can be the Face in HOU, ATL & DAL and not one person outside of those cities would care.

I think the situation in Houston is better than what most people think.

D12 will not leave LA. that's for sure. kobe will leave and at this point, things can only
get better.
d12 prolly will stay cus of how they Lakers roll. They buy talent and win titles as opposed to growing talent to merely compete.
But the season is over tho anyway.
Nash cant even save this mess.
