I ended up copping an indigo throw blanket type situation from mali

Ended up pulling the trigger on that blanket lined jacket I wanted
Went with studio d’artisan instead of the Lee storm rider
Slightly longer cut and tapered fit made it a no brainer

Copped from okayama denim they usually deliver within a few days so I’m patiently waitin

What trousers to wear with a medium wash sherling denim jacket? I tried a dark pair of jeans and felt a bit too yeehaw cowboy for my taste. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Double denim is hard to pull off
Can’t go wrong with a chino tho
Olive works with everything IMO
Khaki / brown works too

I think the general rule is if you gonna do double denim it has to NOT match but NOT clash which only leaves you a limited window of acceptable pairings

when I wear a dark wash jean with a light wash jacket it doesn’t look bad to me but my shorty always says I’m pushing it

So I like the fit but def couldve totally went a size up ( they only had this size 38.)
Fits snug , recommend sizing up for more of a jacket but this is perfect for what I needed it for .. something right between the very warm alpaca lined FOG joint I have and a regular denim jacket
