Just looked at my retro Traix 91's sitting by the front door and noticed some lovely blue-dye around the mesh on the heel. Any ideas on how to get ridwithout ruining the lovely shoe even more?

Def. Not a good look

next time wash ya jeans before you wear them to get that extra dye out of them...try the mr. Clean magic eraser...was told it works onmess...u can also throw them in a washing machine as an alternative

Can anyone confirm that the eraser works on mesh? I know it does a hell of a job on the midsoles (white only unless you want the paint stripped off).

always wash your jeans to get the extra dye out them. Its funny how L-R-G says that on the tag because they must use alot of dye in the jeans

Hm. I have been told he gel cleaner sold at Finishline works, but haven't tried it myself...

just dont wear dark jeans with shoes that have light colors where the jeans would set.

since I messed up some xi's in 2001 when I wore them with some denims, I never wore J's with denim. I just rock them with sweats and shorts, it sucksbut I want to preserve them

I use Ultra Ivory Dishwashing liquid + water + toothbrush...itz clear soft so it wont mess up the material of the kicks or make it yellow n it smells good lol!

Ahh that sucks. I didn't even know that happened a few years ago and i took a big L to my all-whites

Yea this happened to me alot. Even after several washes, certain jeans will still bleed onto my shoes. Even had some bleed when cuffed...

so yea, I justcuff, and tuck under my tongue..... still get a lil bleed on the sides and back, but its just best to clean ASAP, so it doesnt set into the leather ormaterial.

yep, always try and wash the dye out before you wear them, or just dont wear white mesh sneakers with dark jeans.

Yep, def not a good look...creeps on you at times too.

I just prefer wearing white/light color shoes with Shorts/Khakis instead of Jeans.

i just rock the levis black 514 slim straight with light shoes, they don't bleed. plus they're my favorite jeans, they look perfect, not too baggy, nottoo tight.

i do got a pair of levi's blue denim that don't bleed anymore after multiple washes, but most of my designer blue denim still bleeds no matter how muchyou wash 'em...

i've tried tape on the inside, but they look kinda wack where the tape is because they don't just drop onto the shoe, they look stiff because theyfollow the tape. plus there's still a small section at the bottom that touches the shoe.

i'm tellin' ya tho, if someone could come out with a sure fire remedy to this, they could make a lot of money...

here's a trick worth trying.

i just don't like how stiff the jeans end up looking down at the bottom from the tape (because i got to put two rows of tape so no part of the jean touchesthe shoe).

i've only got one pair that bleed badly, so i'm thinking about taking them to a tailor and getting fabric sewn into them, high enough up to wear theywill never touch the shoe, and also sticking a piece of string in the bottom like the above link suggests, so not even the very bottom of the jean will touchthe shoe...

that's goin' mad hard, i know, but that's how much i want my shoes to stay clean...

I never had a problem with denim jeans dye on my kicks. I cop my jeans from express. maybe thats why?
