man hearing yall talk about destiny does bring me back to when it dropped and I would spend hours on that game cracking jokes playing with my cousins and a few cats up here. man I miss that and everyone is right the games was about an 8 for me but the social aspect of the game was a 20/10. The parties were always full, always got hyped when I completed a raid and got something dope, and my favorite part was finally getting good at crucible and beating these dudes that wouldnt let us join their fireteam because they were destiny snobs.

@uTep2Step  had to stay late at work (I believe FootLocker). Quad took his place and when he joined the chat asking why we didn't wait for him....Quad didn't let us down 

Quad also told us that he couldn't move and shoot at the same time as well during the trash clearing part of the Warpriest encounter 

 

When he talked all that trash to @TEKtheMAESTRO  and Besu I believe during a Nightfall. Told them to get in his Gucci bag and he would carry them because they were trash.....not even 10 seconds later you hear "Guardian Down"

• No changes

[h2]Shotguns[/h2]

• Significantly decreased magnetism, and turned off aim assistance when firing from the hip.
• Decreased mid air accuracy.
• Removed all precision damage from shotguns.
• 20% buff to shotgun damage in PVE to make up for lack of critical damage.
• Chaperone and Universal Remote still does precision damage.
• Aim down sight time takes 25% longer for shotguns that have the Rangefinder perk.
• Removed agility decrease when wielding a shotgun.

[h2]Pulse Rifles[/h2]

• Reduced rate of fire for low impact pulse rifles (Clevor Dragon, Grasp of Malok) by 7.7% or 1 frame.
• Base Flinch from pulse rifles and High Caliber Rounds on pulse rifles both nerfed.
• Pulse Rifles across the board have had their base flinch reduced.
• Grasp of Malok and Clever Dragon have had their magazine size reduced by 6 shots. Clever Dragon magazine size reduced from 30 to 24 and 24 to 18 with Braced Frame.
• Increased rate of fire for high impact pulse rifles by 5.3%. (The Messenger, Spare Change)

• Reduced base range by 5 meters. (Affects aim assistance and damage drop off)
• Currently at maximum damage falloff, hand cannon damage gets reduced by up to 50%. It will now reach down further, to 33% of the base damage, at maximum falloff distances.
• No changes were made for bloom on spamming shots. (You still have to pace your shots)
• High Caliber Rounds now affects Hand Cannons.

• Scout Rifles have had their in air accuracy increased.

Special Ammo Changes

• Players start matches with special ammo, but you now lose ALL ammo upon death.

• Invective and Icebreaker are affected, and will also lose their ammo upon death, but still regenerate as normal.

• Universal Remote: Precision damage only active when aiming down sights. No other changes mentioned.

This **** right here is why people stopped playing Destiny AND will only return for Destiny 2.

Everyone predicted a ******* nerf to the high ROF pulses, and now it is happening.............but Bungie ONCE AGAIN takes the nerf to the next ******* level every single time.

Guys, is it too late to request for this thread to be closed and open up the Destiny 2 thread early? 

Clearly there is no point in playing Destiny this year at all, and the patch hasn't been officially released yet with the full patch notes.

What makes it worse is that literally everyone spent all their time grinding to make sure that THOSE PARTICULAR WEAPONS were at max light level..........and now they're nerfed.

And all the stuff that got buffed from this new patch, no one even bothered to acquire and grind to max light OR it is in their vault and has yet to be grinded to max light level.

Considering how the grind itself is pretty tenous plus the fact that the current content in the game isn't exciting enough to grind for another time AND we are at the final life cycle of the game, a nerf of "this magnitude" was absolutely pointless and it'll further 'cause Bungie to make their core audience virtually extinct before  the Destiny sequel is released.

Unless this weapon balancing patch is part of a "new content update" (which that hasn't been reported yet), this was absolutely ridiculous to do a nerf of this magnitude ESPECIALLY SINCE THIS GAME IS ON THE END OF ITS LIFE CYCLE ALREADY like I stated before.

Recently through contact with an employee within the Administrative ranks of Bungie I been presented with new information about the future of Destiny. I am to remain anonymous through this entire post due to the jeopardy of my contacts.

INFORMATION AHEAD OF CONFERENCE CALL

The next installment in the DESTINY franchise will be revealed as " Destiny II: Forge of Hope".

Will be launching in Q4 2017 with an estimated window release of November 4th to November 18th.

The next installment will be launching on five platforms: PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox Scorpio (TBA) and PC.

Console Exclusivity will remain with PlayStation but the exclusive period will be reduced to 3 Months.

Will launch with three editions.

Destiny II: Forge of Hope including TBA Preorder BonusDestiny II: Forge of Hope including TBA Preorder, Special In-Game cosmetics.Destiny II: Forge of Hope Including TBA Preorder,Special In-Game cosmetics and a 1:2 Scale of the Exo Strangers Relic of Necessity.

The game has a whole new engine built from the ground up with the ability for Bungie to rapidly create and ad new content to the world of Destiny.

Bungie is scheduling for an event release every 1-2 months centering around a theme similar to Overwatch while also delivering new narrative paths and new game play mechanics.

Spoilers on Story

The sequel will heavily focus on chronological events set after the Fall 2015 Expansion The Taken King. The cabal forces attack the city leaving the civilians and mentors of the tower defenseless. It is the guardians job to fight back the cabal and reclaim the city. While doing so the guardian will discover the long lost stories of Queen Mara Sov and The Exo Strangers motives. The story will culminate with the tower and city fighting back the Cabal empire resulting the guardian defeating the leader of the Cabal in the new Raid.

The Future of Destiny

Bungie is planning to release a substantial content updates for each quarter (Similar to the April Update)

Bungie already have a small team working on the first major expansion to be released in Fall 2018. Details are limited but it is aimed to be centred around the Vex and the Origins of Kabr and Praydeth.

This is all my info for now, there will be more in the future.

NEW INFORMATION

Due to the new engine Bungie had to make the hard decision of previous Characters being left behind. The upside to this is the new release will have a more customization character creation including facial hair and class themed face paint and tattoos.

In a few days I will be presenting info about the upcoming Spring Update which will be releasing early May.
