I felt like the moon farm method was better than earths. You're basically in a private lobby on the moon at that point so you don't have to share enemies with other players not in your fireteam. Plus on earth, everyone has to be a certain distance away from the cave for the acolytes to spawn. If some random player hangs out around the cave, you'll be stuck.

to troll people on earth farming, i use my purple bubble from my defender titan class to put people in Timeout or i'll just put the bubble in front of the cave

People get very upset if you come into their farming session and kill everything before they do.

Even though I think engrams will still drop for them.

Seems like the moon doesn't drop any armor engrams, in the video the dude spent 40 mins farming just to get green engram drops.

Where to farm on earth, will it net me any rare or legendary drops?

Everytime a random would try to get in on the action on earth, I'd tell my fireteam folks to keep going since their kills net me drops too. Then I'd just go and stand/dance/jump in front of the random so they couldn't see the cave. I bet they were hot.

Engrams drops for anybody, like whoever gets that particular killl ...when randoms were shooting in the cave they also got drops ...
unless they were just goin in the cave just b/c they saw us going in the cave.

What's the fastest way to level up your abilities? I feel like my abilities only level up when I do.
I'm a level 19 warlock and I don't even have my void walker subclass maxed yet

Man I'm 24 and I don't have a subclass maxed out yet. Bounties though. Bounties are your best friend. Easy xp for leveling up weapons, armor and abilities.

Doesn anybody know what triggers the Poastmaster in the tower to give you stuff? ....yesterday he gave me 3 legendary purple engrams which 1 turned out to be the Legendary Warlocks bond, which doesn't do anything except look cool on my arm.

I think its when you gain reputation levels with the Cryptarch. I could be wrong tho

I'm looking to do the lvl 22 "weekly strike" if anyone is done. I should be on around 8pm EST tonight and probably most of Saturday and part of Sunday. My PSN is the NT name and I'm a level 23 titan.

Its just like how you check your crucible, vanguard, and faction level. You go to the person and look at the left side of the screen you'll see the level in a circle

Xur is back in the Tower. He's on the Speaker's side of the Tower at the big, unopened door across from the Speaker. Was hoping he still had that Exotic hunter helmet but now it's a Titan Helmet, Hunter Chestpiece, and Warlock Gauntlets. Also has Gjallahorn and an exotic engram but it's for Body armor. Might get the Exotic Chestpiece but really wanted that Hunter Helmet that was there last week. I wonder when it will refresh with the helmet. 

On another note, just got the Exotic weapon bounty for Thorn (handcannon). Have to use Void to kill people in the Crucible. It sucks that I only have a shotgun and heavy machine gun as my Void weapons. Going to be a long grind to complete this bounty.

Another question, if im farming the hole on Earth, and there are 8 others randoms shooting in the hole, does all the loot apply to me even if I didn't get the actual kill? ...there is debate about this on another forum where they are saying that all the loot is yours, but I thought the only loot that is yours is from enemies that you actually killed. If a random kill something in the hole and it drops something, that loot is for the random who got that particular kill correct?

That kinda makes sense, so your fire team can shoot in ....so i was right in not wanting to shoot in the hole with randoms.

Nice. Once I finish my exotic bounty in the crucible tonight I'll join you and farm. I maxed out my Vanguard Marks so gotta wait until next week to get a helmet.

So I also heard that you can equip one piece of exotic armor and only one exotic weapon at a time. I guess that would e overpowered to have all exotic armor equipped and all exotic weapons.
