DISNEYLAND/DISNEYWORLD APPRECIATION!!! PUT IN UR ORDER FOR AN NT DISNEY SPIRIT JERSEY NOW!!!

Having the itch to go to Disneyland. But I know, it won't happen. lol

Booked my FastPass+ reservations for my WDW trip in April this past weekend. I'll be arriving in Orlando around 6 pm local time on a Wednesday. The plan so far is to go to Magic Kingdom that night and stay until 1 AM (Extra Magic Hours benefit), on Thursday spend the day at EPCOT, Friday will be Magic Kingdom Day 2, Saturday at Animal Kingdom, and finally Sunday will be for Hollywood Studios.

This will be my first time so I am trying to get a taste of everything but at the same time do not burn myself out because I'll be participating in the Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend festivities.

Should be a memorable weekend.

Hows your latest visit @nawghtyhare?

@chris82790, sounds like a good plan but does sound tiring especially with the half marathon. Should be very fun though, let us know how it goes.

On another note, Harry Potter in Universal Studios Hollywood had their soft opening last week so I might just go ahead and visit this month before it becomes crazy busy when it officially opens.

how long is the soft opening open for

Since it is technically a tech rehearsal, it isn't guaranteed to be open all day everyday as there are time where they are doing testing or just completely close it while they tweak some stuff.

I have read reports that everything went well and that there is a chance it might open up more permanently til it officially unveiled on April 7 but it's definitely still a risk if you're going mainly for that attraction.

It was HOT :{
I hate waiting a trip when it's hot
The lines were even longer
What's crazy is the day before and day after my trip lines were super short :|
Also seems like it cooled down :{
Gonna do another trip next month during Easter weekend

Well, it looks like I will be going again once this opens. Wish this could premiere during Star Wars weekend in April though. It would have been a perfect way to end the race weekend.

New Star Wars Nighttime Spectacular Announced, Set to Make Theme Park History

by Jennifer Fickley-Baker, Editorial Content Manager, Walt Disney World Resort

If there’s one word you could use to describe Star Wars – from the films and the excitement that surrounds them, to the loyal fandom – that word just might be “epic.” It also describes the exciting new offerings that are heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this spring.

Today, we’re happy to share that plans are currently in the works for a new Star Wars stage show and procession, as well as a nighttime spectacular so elaborate it’s set to make Disney’s Hollywood Studios history. Like I said, epic.

The Force will officially awaken at the park April 4, with the debut of the brand new Star Wars stage show, “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away.” The new show will play out iconic moments from the film saga on Center Stage (in front of the Chinese Theater), and will feature appearances from Star Wars characters like Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, Darth Vader and Darth Maul.

Also starting April 4, Captain Phasma will begin leading a platoon of First Order stormtroopers on a march from Star Wars Launch Bay to Center Stage multiple times each day.

New Star Wars Nighttime Spectacular Announced, Set to Make Theme Park History

And starting this summer, fans won’t want to miss the grand debut of a new Star Wars fireworks show, “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.” This new nightly show is the next generation of the current Star Wars-inspired fireworks show. The show will combine fireworks, pyrotechnics, special effects and video projections that will turn the nearby Chinese Theater and other buildings into the twin suns of Tatooine, a field of battle droids, the trench of the Death Star, Starkiller Base and other Star Wars destinations. The show will be punctuated with a tower of fire and spotlight beams, creating massive lightsabers in the sky. This new show will be the most elaborate fireworks display to take place in the history of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

And don’t forget about the other recent Star Wars additions that have debuted at the park. The Star Tours – The Adventures Continue attraction now features new characters and planets from the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens film. Star Wars Launch Bay offers families an up-close look at replica props, models, costumes and more from the films, plus the chance to encounter with someone from Rebel Alliance or the Dark Side. And young Padawans can put their bravery to the test at Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, which now features the character of the Seventh Sister from the Disney XD series Star Wars Rebels.

Which of these new Star Wars offerings are you most excited about? Tell us in the comments section below.

Depends
Where u flying from
Do u have a chase bank account
U can get a chase Disney debit card
and get discounts on rooms using that card at Disney
They will send u "exclusive" discount offers for Disney vacations
But I have a Disney debit card and annual pass
And it's the same discounts they send out
Also check the website Disneyland/disneyworld website always has vacation package deals

Ugh, Autopias is under refurbishment but I was hoping they'd demolish it and build something new but I guess it's just getting repainted to be sponsored by Honda.

Does anyone over the age of 5 even actually enjoy this ride? Good concept but terrible execution and just plain dated now.

If you're just with friends or wife/gf, go the single riders line, cuts the line in 1/4 and chances are you'd ride in the same car or race against each other.
