Tickets on sale for Disneyland’s first Sweethearts’ Nite
If you’ve got a romantic soul and you love Disneyland, you might want to know about this: Tickets went on sale this morning to Disneyland’s first Sweethearts’ Nite, which will feature lots of special events for romantic couples a week before Valentine’s Day.
Those who can’t get enough of these Disneyland After Dark events take note: There will also be a retro 90’s Nite coming up on March 7, and tickets are also on sale for that one.
Here’s what you want to know about the Disneyland Valentine’s Event:
If you’ve got a romantic soul and you love Disneyland, you might want to know about this: Tickets went on sale this morning to Disneyland’s first Sweethearts’ Nite, which will feature lots of special events for romantic couples a week before Valentine’s Day.
Those who can’t get enough of these Disneyland After Dark events take note: There will also be a retro 90’s Nite coming up on March 7, and tickets are also on sale for that one.
Here’s what you want to know about the Disneyland Valentine’s Event:
- Sweethearts’ Nite takes place on Feb. 7 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- People must buy a special $99 ticket (adults or kids) to get in. Kids under 3 get in free. Tickets for annual passholders went on sale Nov. 27; the general public can buy Nov. 28.
- Ticket holders can arrive as early as 6 p.m. though the event doesn’t start until 9 p.m.
- This will likely sell out, so don’t wait around if you want to buy tickets.
- The event features Mickey and Minnie Mouse and their cartoon love story.
- There will be an “Imperial Ball” set up near It’s a Small World where park goers can dance with beloved Disney characters. Elsewhere, there will be live piano music, DJ dance parties and a steel drum band.
- Disney will bring out special couples characters for meet-and-greets.
- Take photos against special backdrops such as Ariel and Eric’s moonlit rowboat ride, the lantern scene from “Tangled, “Aladdin and Jasmine’s magic carpet ride and more. The ticket includes free digital photo downloads.
- Some attractions will be open late for riding, including It’s a Small World, Storybook Land Canal Boats, Space Mountain and more.
- You guessed it: Special food and merchandise will be available for purchase.
- Ticket holders get a souvenir lanyard, credential and map of happenings.
- People are encouraged to dress up in an outfit inspired by a Disney character (subject to Disneyland costume rules)
- People who’ve done these events say it’s a good way to experience Disneyland with smaller crowds.
