I have a ServSafe Certification so I usually know what I'm looking for.

I usually pore a small amount of milk in a glass and taste that to see if ittastes alright to me.

Chinese food is a nono after two days! bubble guts FTL.

Stuff with a lot of vinegar usually keeps a long time, like mustard, pickles, etc

Dairy I'm super careful with after a sour milk fiasco a few years back. It scarred me for life.

I never know what to do with lunch meat... I seriously can't ever tell if its bad besides if the smell is horrid.
