Does Steve Nash make it into the Hall minus the MVP's?

I know a lot of people are upset that Nash is going to go into the HoF off the strength of his MVP's but he just passed Lenny Wilkins to move into 10thplace in the All-Time Assists Board tonight with 21 assists.
At the very least he'll move up to 8th place barring any injuries (about 700 away).
Anybody that's followed my posts on Nash know how much of a fan I am of his style so I've got a very biased perspective.
Thoughts?
 
Yes, he played a part in bringing back the uptempo offense to the NBA. His %s in Phoenix were RIDICULOUS as a pg too.

And I love Steve Nash as a player... But no, without his MVP awards, he's not a Hall of Famer...

Nope not even close. The only reason he got 2 MVP's is becuase of Mike D's offense. It took a better than average PG in Nash and made him look superhuman with a bunch of athletes running up and down the court. That's why they could never get passed my Spur's...
 
Mark Jackson is 2nd. Is he a HOFer? It's arguable.

So minus the MVPs, Nash is nowhere close to being a HOF player.
 
we all know he doesn't deserve it.

and everyone who has watched basketball for at least the last 5-10 years will tell you that MANY, MANY, MANY PGs were better than Nash in his generation.


with that said, how does he not get in? he has 2 MVPs. the league already effed up by giving him his fraud MVPs. they are not going to disrespect the title ofMVP even further by not allowing a 2-time winner in the Hall. sadly, the damage has already been done. Steve Nash will get in.

I'm not debating whether Nash is HOF'er buddy. I'm saying that this argument is dumb, because taking away one the most prestigious awards in sportsto define a Hall of Fame career is pointless since it was already awarded. Pointless I tell ya.
 
The Mark Jackson one is the only valid argument. Wes Unseld is in the H.o.F. and has an MVP with even weaker stats than what Nash put up.
If you don't think Nash deserved the first MVP, you're just not paying attention to the NBA at all.

The only thing I can say to Mark Jackson argument is that he would be a dead-on H.o.F'er if he wasn't a journeyman throughout his career.
 
Steve Nash in the HALL OF FAME???? Yeah right two good seasons and your a Hof???? NO WAY DUDE dont belong. If that's the case make sure you put in JOHNSTARKS and PENNY HARDAWAY.
