at first I was like how come he's not singing, it's kinda weird that he sang that song after he got chosen ........ but to answer your question no is wasnt better than John Legend .. while the X factor guy falsetto sounds nice .. John Legend does a much better job building the song to a crescendo, and the key John Legend sings in fits the song much better than X factor guy
