Does this seem like a Craigslist Scam?

Ok, so I'm trying to sell a PS3 and some games on craigslist. I posted the ad yesterday afternoon and that night received a response " is the item still for sale get back to me with the pics and other specifications" . I then sent Pictures and informed the buyer I raised the price by $25. Then tonight I recieved another email.  

"Hi,

Thanks for the reply, am so glad to hear from you, I want you know

that am really interested in buying this item, i'm buying this for

someone very special in abroad, I will like to ask you more about this item,

1) Why are you selling it?

2) Let me know the condition,

3) Can you send me some pictures of the item?

4) Am buying this for someone very special as a new year gift

5) i will be offering you $420 including the shipping cost

via Usps international express mail service with insurance,

6)This is my first time buying online, I will be making the payment

via PayPal account, because it's safe,fast and secure online

transaction, kindly get back to me with your PayPal email address or

send me money request from PayPal so that i can proceed with the

payment as soon as possible,  or you can set up an account at

www.paypal.com, so that i can send you the payment ...ASAP,

Get back to me as soon as you can.

HAPPY NEW YEAR."

Yes, very.

And then they have the ones that want to hook up

They get so annoying, every time I get a new email on something I have on craigslist, I think I have a potential buyer but nope

Get the money before you send it. Either that or meet up if possible. Don't allow yourself to take an L here...

I actually wanted to see if "Will Smith" would send me the money so I kept saying "I'm logged into my account and I see nothing" and "Will Smith" kept insisting that it was.

Eventually, I stopped emailing back. 

It's a scam.

It's not the properness of the response but rather his disjointed english mixed with the statement "This is my first time", yet he seems to know exactly how the process will work.  Also no attempts to get a lower price?  Unless you have 4 controllers, the biggest HD and 10 games I'd start with the lowball lol.
 
Scam. Honestly, a real person isn't going to type they are interested in buying the item cause its already obvious.

but i squeezed out time to check this advert and send you an email
regarding it.i would be glad to pay for it as soon as possible though
i will not be available to come for an inspection due to my tight
schedule.Kindly get back to me with the following questions below:

1) What is the condition?
2) Are you the Owner?
3) Pick up Location?
4) Your PayPal Email ID to effect the payment

I would be glad to make the payment immediately through PayPal so
kindly get back to me with your PayPal ID. You need not to worry
yourself about title transfer and shipment,i will instruct the
shipping company to handle that therefore in order to complete the
transaction do get back to me with your PayPal ID and total cost so
that I can make the payment asap. I will be waiting for your reply!

What's sad is some people think this is legit and actually go through with it.

Because the scammer assumes that OP is a rookie and probably doesn't have a paypal account since he's selling on CL. He than forwards OP a fake SIGN UP FOR PAYPAL ACCOUNT email; has OP type in all his personal information into a fake Paypal site - than runs off with all his personal info after sending him a fake You've been paid email. On top of that, the scammer might even still receive the Xbox or whatever if the person was dumb enough to fall for shipping it too.

It's identity theft in full effect.
