Dressing Better Vol 2.0

Not sure if this qualifies as dressing better but..

So i was talking to this kid at the gym and i couldn't help but admire his pants. They were like slim fit sweat pants. They were black, had pockets, and had elastic cuffs at the bottom. Any one know where to get those?

There are plenty of tapered sweats out there these days thanks to "lounge-wear" becoming more common. It really started with luxury sweats like Lanvin using cashmere and silk but these days it's more of a fashion statement.
I have these Spurr sweatpants (but it fits closer than in the pic) and it's great.

RLX also has a few, I have a pair myself. This upcoming season RLX has this cargo fleece that tapers.

There also lots of other luxe brands like Robert Geller, Rick Owens, etc... that offers more luxe longewear.

There have been also several sweats/active sport pants for running and soccer that are tapered.
Adidas has these tapered running pants at Macys: http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/...s?ID=722114&PseudoCat=se-xx-xx-xx.esn_results

Here's a pic of my RLX pair, it has a zipper in the bottom so I can widen it if needed.

Here's a pic of my Spurr sweats from almost 2 years ago I think, I know it's a bit extreme and real tight in the thighs in the pic but looks much better in real life.

To the suite aficionado's.... (where's Niidawg to make sense of all of this too?)

I have a black suit, and a wedding that's coming up soon. I thought of adding something with a bit of flair to it with a pocket square. I have a bunch of different ties, but I think that I'll need to pick up another one. I'm looking to maybe wear a pocket square like this....

(btw, I'm quite sure that's a black suit, but I'm not sure becuase of the gold buttons. might be navy, but in all of the pics, it looks black)

Or should I just go without a tie?

Basically, can someone help me out with a nice different pocket square and tie combo for a black suit?

Yea I measured right, I even double checked the measurements that I sent them. When I checked what they had under measurements, they literally had measurements that were off by 8 inches in the chest and stomach from what I submitted. Sleeve length was shorter than my input. What it seems they did is they took my height and used it to adjust it to numbers they though fit the average 5'9 guy...well that's why I sent them my info because I'm not the average skinny 5'9 guy. Already put in for a remake and sent them two e-mails to make sure that they know it needs to be increased by 8 inches not the 4 that is the max they allow on their site.

They will replace it for you at no charge until you're completely satisfied with the shirts. I went through this process a couple times and now i own 10+ shirts that fit amazing from indochino

I bought my pair from Macys to use on the airplane ride home (15 hours or so ride).

I believe you're talking about this kind of sweat pants, but the version you are talking about actually has full length inseam and not a short variation.

sorry that you had to go through all that. was their customer service good? are you going to buy the coupon from dailyhookups?

I e-mailed them late yesterday and I'll likely hear by tonight or tomorrow, pretty sure tomorrow since it was after business hours. I think I still am going to order the dailyhookups deal, since I can one get a refund if their response to my issue is something that leaves me extremely dissatisfied, and the dailyhookup will refund me the total purchase price. Second, if I order it and once I get it, it fits terribly and not satisfied then I'll get a refund then.

I am going to double check my own measurements and measure my bespoke suit to make sure that the measurements are correct. At the end of the day $320 for a suit, shirt and tie is not a bad deal. I want the 3 piece, so to pay $379 for all of it, the price of usually just the two piece isn't bad at all.

I would sugest going to a store and ask a lady that works there. We are all dudes here. I guarantee you will like what a lady pics out for you over any guy in this thread. Fit questions are cool. Color combo suggestions should really be reserved to a female. Not sure if you have a girl but its definitely a good way to pull chicks as well.

Yeah, my lady and I will go check out some options on Monday. I just figured I'd start here...

IMO black suits at weddings are for night weddings only.

I'm making a temp plan, since I'm losing weight and my body is changing, I don't feel like buying another suit that I know i'm going to want to change in another 3-4 months.

And I hate renting suits.

^^ i've been looking for that type of sweatpants for the longest with the tapered bottoms

info anyone?
