I've actually been thinking about using starch lately, to give my shirts a more crisp look. But, I haven't done it yet.

And, am I the only one who thinks RFX jacket looks fine?

. What brand is it BTW?

Yes I do.  On certain shirts only.  I have a couple white shirts where the collar is a little floppy, so I starch them, and they pop.
Btw, that's a clean fit.  The shoes seem to work really well with the fit.

Thanks eiddy.
RFX45: Ace, those jeans turned out great. Not super skinny, just right and just in comparison to the old cut, it looks like you lost a few pounds too.
Personal preference but I wouldn't have gotten it shortened, I liked a bit of stacking on my jeans, against that's just me.
Looks great though, how much did the tailor charge you? Mine charges extra when dealing with jeans.

Thanks man, she did do a pretty good job overall. She charged me $22. I really wish I didn't have to get jeans tailored, but getting the perfect fit through online ordering is a pain in the ***, consistent trial and error.

Supremacy: ^Actually i think the jeans + shoes don't go that well. First, the shoe looks too tightly laced together. And the taper down makes the shoes look even bigger. Maybe on some other shoes the jeans would look good but I'm not a fan of skinny +high top dunks

Yea, the shoes are in fact very tightly laced. If you're unfamiliar with the undftd dunk, it has no lining, so the shoe fits big. I lace 'em tightly so they "hug" my foot more.

damnitzdom: and ace.. what's the name of the navy jacket you're wearing?

It's actually the Men's Cambridge Rib Shawl Cardigan from Lands' End Canvas. Only $28.99 right now.

ACE, did you go a size down on the cardigan?

i bought one a while ago and it fits way too big, anyway i could shrink it...?

I need a belt. Any suggestions? I have one, but it's not the business
laugh.gif

I want one that would be almost universal. Is there an article or anything I can read about belts? I know coordinate with shoes and accessories. I want to know what to look for, how wide the belt should be or skinny, certain guidelines, etc.
Also, opinion on reversible belts?

Generaiya goes to Paul Stuart when it comes to men's accessories

Thanks for the compliment on the last page man and believe it or not, the one I have is a size small
laugh.gif
. I've learned to start small with cardigans and go from there, because I never find one that fits true to size.
Thanks for the reading material and the compliment nii; you have officially got me nervous thinking about my first "real" suit purchase

I'm 6'0 195 at the moment. The small fits me perfectly IMO. The medium might be a little too big on you, but I'm not sure how you like your clothes to fit. I like mine to be as spot on as possible.

What about the jeans?

^ the jeans are from my beloved, 21MEN and honestly they're one of my favorite in my wardrobe right now.

It's nice to see this in here. I know it's not the first time, and there are plenty of instances of "clean casual" looks, but I rarely see them with the Nikes I love so. Dunks, Air Max + Air Force 1s.
This is pretty much where I am on a daily basis now. Better fitting jeans, shirt. Maybe a sweater over it. Shawl collars been in effect this winter. And Nikes.

For some of us, this is dressing better. I'll throw on a suit when it's time. A blazer when it's time. But neither is required for work so I keep it comfortable.

Sorry about these big +#+ pics

Never thought that I would wear a shoe like this with jeans but I think it looks pretty good.

Must be because of of the build. I can't rock the Mr. Clean dome just yet, though.

Love the sharp contrast of the shoes to the jeans, though. Buttery +#% brown.
