DS 2003 AJ VIII Wearable?

I apologize for creating another wearable(?) topic, but your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Are the Bugs Bunny 8's that retroed in 2003 still wearable if they are still in deadstock condition up to now and you decide to wear them? I'm not sure if the 8's are known to crack or crumble like the 3's and 4's.

Circa 03 8s tend to crumble i believe?


From around 07 onwards, when they retroed the Aquas, i think they solved the problem, but i've lost track as to if the White colorway was retroed since then.

Yes, the '03s will crumble -especially if they've been left untouched in the box for 10 years.

The 2007 retros will also crumble eventually once enough time has passed, they have the same polyurethane midsole as the OGs and retros.

I wanted to make another thread, but I can probably just continue it here.

Are there any signs to look for to determine if an older DS pair is still wearable or not? Like if midsoles or outsoles are soft, they will most likely crumble or what not.

the pair i had were tanks. i beat them hard and they were going strong when i foolishly sold them.
