Dyeing New Era fitteds...or any hat?

anyone ever dye a New Era hat? or any hat at all? i have a couple of New Eras that i want to dye the bill a different solid color. just lookin for some tips ifits ever been done. also, i dont plan on tossin' it in the washing machine i just wanna brush it or sponge the color in.

use a sharpie

just do that %$@% and see how it comes out. Buy some fabric dye and go for it. I would say try it on a throw away hat first obviously and see how it comes out.And if its good then try a hat you actually want to wear out.
