I don't really check for E3 due to all the console/console game hype. Is there anything worth looking for on the PC gaming front? PC Master Race checking in
I know you have been hinting at it, Hybrid.
But when will they SHOW Chocobo Racing 2? Codename: Chocobo Racing 3D?
Damn how did you hear about that megaton?!?!
It's going to totally change the game. Project Cars, Driveclub, Need For Speed, Forza, Mario Kart, they all will literally get **** on by chocobos. Just imagine the thrill when you put on your Morpheus and go into a fully VR world of chocobo vs chocobo racing and combat. Not to mention that they're collaborating with Polyphony to bring you that REALISTIC chocobo riding experience with an insane level of physics and racer models that they're known for. I can certainly confirm that chocobo damage IS IN!!! And that Midgar is a confirmed playable race track if you pre-order at Gamestop.
Huge news for Microsoft.
OCULUS ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH MICROSOFT
Rift will come with a wireless Xbox One controller, stream Xbox One games.
BY DANIEL KRUPA
At its pre-E3 press conference today, Oculus announced a partnership with Microsoft.
Brendan Iribe, Oculus VR, CEO stressed the importance of shipping the Oculus Rift with a gamepad, and revealed that every headset will come bundled with a wireless Xbox One controller and adaptor.
Head of Xbox Phil Spencer took the stage to elaborate on the partnership: “The opportunity for us to bring our wireless controller, the one that we’ve spent so many years refining, to every Oculus user at launch is incredibly exciting for us.
“The Rift will natively work with Windows 10. And we all know that VR experiences require the highest performance, and with Direct X 12, we believe we’ll be able to create state of the art virtual reality experiences on top of Windows.”
But it won't just be compatible with PC. Spencer revealed, "People will be able to stream their Xbox One games to Oculus Rift," with specific titles like Halo, Sunset Overdrive, and Forza all mentioned as being compatible.
Oculus Rift is slated for release in Q1 2016.
The idea behind it is that inside the VR room, the screen is really big. So you can play on a 60 inch tv in real life or a movie screen on VR. It's a niche thing that's just to show off the Ms partnershipTHAT'S what it looks like? Why would you put on a VR headset while in your living room.... to have a VR living room greet you....?
I still think it is huge that Oculus will ship with an X1 controller.
Also, Insomniac is making a game for OR.

E3 is just the beginning. Over the next few weeks and months, we’ll be sharing many more of our plans for 2015 and beyond. Having a jam-packed lineup of games to show at E3 means that there simply isn’t enough time to give each of our upcoming titles its well-deserved time in the spotlight. We’ve decided to save some of our most eagerly-awaited future titles for gamescom in August. Rest assured that titles like Crackdown, Quantum Break and Scalebound will be front and center at gamescom along with new game reveals for both Xbox One and Windows 10.
