but again; good price on these
i think ima try and wear them super casually, they dont look cracked, but that colorway was
havent seen an og pair in this colorway. but heres hoping they are wearable
I don't think I've seen that colorway either, but it looks
. As far as wearability is concerned, I have some shoes that old that I wear but they weren't DS when I got them. Those look to be in very good shape though. I don't have any experience/knowledge with these trainers and their materials, but you might get some good advice in the Team Vintage Heat thread.
what does this tell you about wearability?
GO FOR IT!
as far as cracking/peeling, the upper lace holder, the black part, has some peeling, so dont use the upper lace support.. also in the heel of the shoe, the white part forming the pyramid shape, around there the white leather has hardened up and started to crack.. near the black midsole area.
Glue coming undone also seems to creep up in certain areas.. through 5 wears, theres really no signs of any catatrosphic midsole failure. this foam is as durable as ever it appears.. now the pair i bought and wear could have been stored differently than your pair. your upper also appears to be leather, and mine a softer felt like material. the felt could have absorbed the moisture over the years, meanwhile all the moisture in your pair goes right into the midsole.. Theres no gurantees with vintage shoes.
Im begging you though, please scan or take detailed photos of that pamplet that comes with the shoes. I love that sort of thing. I have yet to get someone who has a pair to share that, without me actually buying the entire shoe.
