eBay Unappreciation

I just got an auction canceled because my shipping was supposedly too high. eBay thinking I was charging over $10 to ship a DVD to my own damn city

The hells wrong with this website these days? People already cant sell something without losing 15% of the final selling price, now I cant charge enough toship the item anywhere

I'm quiting this eBay bull as soon as I can.

Does anyone else have trouble with listing things for sale on eBay now?

the other day, i listed a pair of Bruts with this new Good Til It's Cancelled thing, buy it now $104.99, and i was only charged 35 cents!!!!

idk, it must be the Good Til Its Cancelled thing. Listed a pair of Ferris Buellers, 99.99 buy it now, same thing, 35 cents.

Before the $0.35 listing fees started, the FVF would be around $6-7.

between final value fees and paypal, they are making a killing...but they are controlling the market and look how many billions of items end everyday...if uwant to sell something, there is nowhere else u can go to sell it beisded locally or a classified ad...i listed something for $230, it says you final valuefees will be about $17. then paypal takes their cut, its like damnnn the profit better be there or else its not worth your time!

I've been done with ebay and paypal for a while now, sucks because I have alot of good things I want to sell but I don't want to deal with ebay orpaypal ever again.

BTW, does anyone know how long it takes for listings to show up on eBay? Some things I put up arent listed yet. And its been over a day.

i just buy stuff off ebay. i sold a few things. after the ebay fees and paypal fees its not worth it, especially for guys selling shoes

12.00% of the initial $50.00, plus 9.00% of the remaining closing value balance ($50.01-$1,000.00) thats for the shoes/clothing auctions. thats awfully high

Ebay is good to buy stuff off of especially ever since they made all those rule changes to protect buyers . . .

But after the final fee they take based on the price your auction ended at + paypal fees its rediculous . . . and they own both . . .

Don't plan on selling anything on ebay in the near future and I used to use em a lot

The glory days of Ebay are definitely over. I haven't sold anything recently but I used to sell regularly back in the day. But let's face it, peopledid abuse the shipping fees. I'd charge $15 flat for something that costs $7-10 to ship...but still, if the people are willing to pay it, I don't seethe problem.

I guess in the end too many buyers got screwed over and that's why they made those buyer-friendly rules.


As a buyer, it's still appreciated. Where else am I going to find a Super Soaker 50 in mint condition?????
