Went back and listened to Not Alike and my goodness, how do you diss MGK like that but sound like complete garbage doing it? Royce has been carrying him for ages.

Not alike was one of the best songs of the album. I'm fine with people having different opinions but in my opinion that song is faaar from trash.

Now, on to the previous conversation that was going on in this thread. I think Eminem is pretty much the peak of technical skill, in terms of rhymeschemes etc, ... but his music is mostly straight garbage.
Eminem's album Relapse was actually pretty good imo and hasn't aged badly. Anything after Relapse is where he really went off track and has been delivering nothing but garbage.
I don't care how insane his technical skill is; how about making a song that sounds good and isn't written for edgy 15 year olds. Rap God is one of the most godawful songs my ears have ever been tortured by. Terrible and overwhelmingly annoying production while he's just yapping about his technical skill. Yeah no thanks.
Hell even a lot of songs on his older albums aged badly due to the above; catering your lyrics to 15 year old edgelords.
Future isn't writing super complex rhyschemes and quintuple entendres but they make music that speaks to people and sounds good. I'm not trying to hear a washed Eminem still rapping about stuffing gerbils in his ***.
