Euphoria HBO & A24's series | Starring Zendaya| RIP Angus Cloud

Man that whole scene with the drug dealers telling them to stripped down had me so stressed. I was over here sitting like "I don't want to see Rue's little *******, I don't want those scumbags to see them either" :smh::smh::smh:
They do think they can fool us though.

Zendaya the biggest star on the show so she probably got a strict no on most nudity or a limit.

That's why they had that porn star strip down. I don't even know why they put Rue in that situation just to bring her in the shower and get her wet with her clothes on and lift her shirt for half a sec and not even show when she took off her pants. Just weird.

Funny that you mention the music selection. I was listening to a podcast about the episode earlier, and they actually mentioned how a lot of the music they play, specifically when they were at the party, isn't something that these kids would actually be listening to. Like there's no way a bunch of kids born in like 2005 would be listening to Juvenile.

They said that the show is loosely based on Sam Levinson, the showrunner's life, and that it seems like he pops in some music and other references that would make more sense for someone his age (37). Probably what I would want to do also
I was wondering the entire time why at a New Year's party they were playing hits from the 2000s.

The DMX and Juve threw me.

Even watching for the second time got me

not 1 lie

But it makes sense if you think about it right?

Rue’s an addict in the truest sense. Shorty is 17/18 and knows how to prevent herself from going into cardiac arrest without a medical degree in sight. Just a mf who’s used enough to know what’s up.

From what I know of addiction, an addict’s habits rarely goes away completely. It’s usually transferred to/focused on the next thing that gives them the best high (euphoria). In Rue’s case, having Jules was better than being drugged up. Now she’s addicted to Jules, who also isn’t good for her.

Either she finds her own inner peace like that guy in the short special told her, or she dies of addiction.

For real. It’s mad abusive. Same as “I’ll kill myself if you leave me” type of abusers.

Abusers don't try to avoid the people they're supposedly abusive towards. Jules is the one who went out of her way to go up to Rue and insisted on asking when she relapsed.

Jules is addicted to Rue's mess/attention.

Eh love the show but both Jules & Rue just lame. Jules just wit Rue cuz "Tyler" ain't work out, then gon come to her as a friend like she ain't break her heart

Like it only took half a episode and the possible romance between Fez and Lexi way more interesting than what Rules doing

Even at their age in the show, I feel like virtually anyone would've or at least should've already known the answer to that question in those circumstances. It's just how severe addiction works, it is what it is.

Good episode

Fez grandma remind me of Smurf from Animal Kingdom

That junkie that was in the car with Rue is a porn star? I know I recognized her from somewhere

Lexi is the most attractive girl on the show. Yea I know Cassie got the knockers and Maddie has the sex appeal but Lexi just does it for me

She walked up to her like nothing happened

They'll probably do a flashback to fill some things in but still.
