Fast and Furious 6 - May 24th $317 Million Worldwide Opening WOWZERS

Even though I read all spoilers and knew what happened during the credits it was still awesome to watch. Theater was PACKED and everyone freaked out at that end credit scene. Can't wait for the next one

people were getting up and leaving when the movie ended; haven't actions thought you anything...YOU DON'T LEAVE

just caught a matinee with my homie, theater was packed for a 2:50 showing

Half way through the runway scene I thought to myself "this is one long *** runway".

same thing he said to me...like "is this runway 50 miles long or something?"

Credit to Justin Lin, the director. Brought back the original characters, recognized the humor of the franchise, and embraced the absurdity.

yup all of this, while still making a coherent film. and actually this one had a lot of plot in it, and it all weaved together very well.

hah same here. like when
statham walks out
i knew it was coming but i was still pretty geeked

tyrese was comedy through the entire movie

gotta say him and luda and him and the rock are absolute GOLD together. baby oil/forehead jokes, the signage on his damn plane, and
"hey ladies change of plans, you know that casino i was tellin yall about? i got vouchers...for the buffet"

now for random thoughts:
-excellent movie, top to bottom. great action, great driving scenes, an actual plot with twists and drama, the comedy   tyrese plays his role very well

-han and tyrese getting beatdown by jo taslim and tyrese is like "yo this never happened"

-man the twists! did not see the gina carano heel turn coming, holy crap. like the whole time...damn.

-am i the only one that got teary eyed when mia turns to han at the the end and asks where gisele was? had me like :frown: :frown: come on bros i couldnt have been the only one :wow:

-my boy brought up a point, there was a lot less focus on the actual cars than in the other ones. driving sure, but no working on cars sequences, long shots of exotics, etc. maybe it wouldve made the movie 2 hours longer

-the dom saving letty by flying across a damn highway 100 stories up and magically landing unharmed on a car  . oh the absurdity! it was awesome to see though haha, people in my theater started clapping  :smh:

-i had read the spoilers before but seeing it in one piece, this one really did well to tie in the loose ends from ALL of the movies, not just TD. shoot letty, braga, shaw's older bro being JS who is revealed as the one who killed han. and also with gisele sacrificing herself ( :frown: ) for han, we have an explanation as for why she wasnt in TD

-i wouldnt have traded elena for letty. elsa pataky :pimp: :pimp:

anyways, excellent movie. need to watch again many times. made me even more hype for the 7th with how well everything pulled together in this one and now we get an epic finale :pimp: :pimp:

some of my friends saw it and said it was terrible because everything was so fake

My boy Lucas coming back eh?

Don't care what nobody says, Tokyo Drift>>>>#2 and #FF4.
Yeah buddy.

Considering how common it is for action movies to use CG action scenes, the FF series hasn't used it that often... so the "fake" complaint isn't fair.

Unbelievable? Of course. It wasn't any worse than two people surviving an insane fall into the water or dragging 10 tons behind them in two cars in Fast Five

I sure hope not. Dude's terrible acting almost single-handedly killed the franchise. And I don't see why they'd need to bring him back other than they maybe go to Japan for a bit, but yeah... I'm good

Really?  I thought he did pretty good. (maybe the plot coulda been better, less serious  and.. no bow wow.... but I thought it was pretty good after that crappy 2 fast 2 furious (Tyrese aside, he's jokes but even he couldnt save the terrible movie).

IDK, I really hope he's in.

BTW
How'd Lucas not see Staham rolling out the car and talking on his phone all casual like?

I just seen a crappy quality video of the scene, but how the heck does that happen

Saw it today... Entertaining just like the rest of the series. Felt like a lot was held back sort of like this was just a filler movie for the seventh...... I can't wait to see it.

Caught the movie today and it was :pimp: but Fast 5 to me was better.

The actor who played the villain in this one SUCKED.

Fast & Furious 7 I hope they somehow bring back Eva Mendes fine ***.

Michelle Rodriguez is so damn fine. Something about a girl who knows how to drive a manual transmission

I'm glad there is someone who feels the same way about Tokyo Drift like I do. The movie was not terrible at all... but not great either. I feel like some people just hate on it because none of the major stars were in it.

Anyways movie was :smokin

A small feel creeped up on me when Han's girl let go. The post credits scene has me pumped for the 7th one!

just got back from watching it. was everything i expected. my theater was packed, and the line was about 40 deep for the next showing. i read up that FaF6 could easily beat out hangover 3 this weekend, which i can believe.

i thought the runway was super long as well. then again it reminded me of dom and brian's first race in the first movie.

i dont think i can hold out any longer for the blu ray box set to come out. some people treat Star Wars or Harry Potter as their favorite movie franchise. this is practically my Star Wars

Just came back from the film. Action packed but how are they gonna tie in JS to Han being chased by drift king....

I doubt Jin is in a deleted scene, he said they never contacted him.

At least he's in the soundtrack  They were playing his track from his Cantonese album when they showed Gisele and Han in HK. It might be a clue he'll have a scene in 7 when they're in Tokyo. :nerd:
