If you think that most people aren't followers, I'm not sure what to tell you. Perhaps, get out more.

you basically said all movies are garbage and they only make money because people are followers...

I didn't "basically" say anything. No need to reinterpret my words, just read what I said.

And I do feel that MOST movies are garbage, not all.

Times have definitely changed since the first film… and the script refects this; right down to just how much illegal street racing has changed since Dominic (Diesel) burned rubber in the original.

This time, he's in Mexico

Stopped reading.

the movies are 100% pure movie theater fun

who cares how realistic they are

I rather see this in the theater with surround sound and a big screen then some boring+*+@ oscar buzz pic

Are you serious? Who said that I was uncomfortable? I gave it a chance because I thought it had potential, but I was very disappointed. The reason I call it homoerotic is because the gay cat in our office wouldn't shut up about it and pretty much viewed it as soft core porn.

By the way advancements in special effects alone, don't make a movie great. Just like big box office numbers don't make it great.

Most people are followers and want to see something because everyone else is doing it. They'll jump on any bandwagon if it's the "in thing" to do. So huge profits only mean that a lot of idiots wasted their time watching some boardroom conceived crap.

I've seen all of the movies that you've mentioned more than once (at home) and while they were entertaining, they weren't great.
I would love to know what movies you thought were great then? By the way innovations do usually make something great because it is remembered asinnovative. Lastly your bandwagon theory is stupid because why wouldn't people want to see a movie that an overwhelming majority of people are seeing isgood? I can understand if the reviews for a movie are negative but people still go to see them, but for the most part all those movies had good reviews so theycan't be crap. But you are entitled to your opinion so we can leave it at that just be sure to answer what movies you like?

As long as there are hot cars with equally as hot girls, I could conjure a plot for the movie..

Scene 1: Movie opens with Jordana Brewster, Eva Mendes, Nathalie Kelley and Megan Fox engaging in a furious (yet slow) foursome (45 minutes).
Scene 2: Race featuring the GT-R, a couple exotics, the obligatory Evo, a Skyline, NSX, and an American muscle car to be named later (4 minutes).
Scene 3: Vin Diesel with his signature quote, "Ask any racer..." (10 seconds).
Scene 4: [Enter rapper here] makes a cameo appearance says some corny jokes (4 seconds).
Scene 5: Repeat of scene 1, [START SPOILER]Lauren London is revealed to be the driver of the defeated black NSX[END SPOILER], joins in on the fun. (50minutes).

End Credits followed by The Dark Knight Epilogue (6 minutes)
