Anybody stupid enough to film a video of themselves committing a crime deserves to pay the consequences.

Nothing justified or warranted about the situation, even had the kid stole some shoes. Violence doesn't solve a damn thing.

Why are you going to bring yourself down to that level over a pair of shoes? Clearly wasn't worth it in the end.

worked out pretty good?  how do you figure?  you get the crap beat out of you while being ridiculed, end up in the hospital, probably suffer a concussion, and face further embarrassment by having it all over the internet.  all that is worth it for a couple pair of free shoes he may or may not receive?
