Filling pieces

Just in from the Porter sale

Also, a bit of a dumb question, but do you guys relace your FPs to the usual criss-cross lacing, or keep it factory laced (horizontal lacing)?
good looks! i always relace them; factory lacing aint my type

Exchanged the low top wavys in size 40 for a 41 through kith and the 41 fits perfectly.

Glad I was able to switch to the right size.

Wish FP sizing wasn't so insane to begin with though.

How are these comfort wose? They cool to walk a long day in out n about? Or a type of light walking mostly standing/sitting?

Glad to hear that bro.
I saw on the new FP site you can shop by US UK and EU sizes now, have they done away with their own stupid sizing system? Or is the FP size still on the box?

Very uncomfortable :{ initially I thought it was a sizing issue but even with an insole I still cant get these comfortable. The leather is buttery soft but due to the mid cut on most models the leather in heel was just too soft to secure my foot! I have constant heel slipping from my pair, Ive tried thick elite socks/ light dress socks, cotton/synesthetic you name it I just cant get these to stop slipping. They even have a felt lining in the heel but mine still slip.

I wear 11.5 in nike shoes, Uk 10 in most dress shoes and the 44 dosent fit me right, length is good but they run wide and flat. I rarely complain about shoes but these just don't work for me, the mid cut just dosent work with the soft materials in the heel.

That's tough because they don't make half sizes. It sounds like a 43.5 would be the right size for you if they made it. I wear an 11 in all Nike's and I fit a 43 in FPs. I tried on the 44 and it was way too big.

Thanks for the replies. So @irishbaz is your complaint just the heel slippage or are they actually just not comfortable to you, as in support and cushioning?

I wear an 11.5 and 12 in Nike so ill probably be along the same lines of size possibly with you not sure yet. But i asked about comfort because i was considering wearing a pair in Vegas when i go but may reconsider if theyre hard on the feet walking a lot.

You'd be a size 45. As far as walking around Vegas in a pair all day... Grab something else. FP look great and are quality shoes but they're not made for walking a lot. Grab some Adi Boosts or Nike flyknits if you'll be walking a lot, plus those won't have all white soles that'll get dirty in Vegas

Yeah for sure i took some flyknit lunars and roshes last time. I was just curious and this would be more of the night time walk to a show then casino prob which we usually stay close by at that time in case drink too much but its a bit of walking. I agree though you right theres better options lol

those are insane..

where is the best place to buy FP shoes? I dont think there are any retailers around me.. also where to get them on the discount!!
First pair of FP ever
These are sick! Quality is killer!

Yeah when i first tried em on first they were very comfortable, but you gotta wear shoes to get a fell for how they fit properly and these just have really bad heel slipping. 45 for me would have been way to big and 43 theres no way id have enough length. I think the main problem is the cut of the shoe and the fact that there is no heel counter to secure your foot, the heel is just way to soft and even with the laces fully locked and insoles these dont feel secure on my feet, tried wearing them loose and they were ridiculous my socks would get pulled down to my heel...

I wear 44 in the Arenas and ive never had any issues with heel slipping like this, I put it down to the lack of a heel counter in a shoe thats mid cut compounded with soft leather and a heavy midsole.

I really like the look of these but they are only ornaments to me now as theres no resale value in these not that i bought them for that purpose but with the majority of discounted pairs available a VNDS pair might as well be VNDS GR AF1s.....

Hey guys, back with some more wonderful news, the Filling Pieces drop 2 of their spring/summer 2016 metamorphasis pack will be releasing on Friday :D

Their US/UK sizing is still different from Adidas/Nike. Are you a US 9.5 or a UK 9.5?

I'm a US10 in Nikes and a US9.5 in Adidas. I got my FP in a US8.5/EU42 and they fit well. So I reckon a US 8 should be fine for you.

Just checked out drop 2 of the collection and I'm not seeing much I like, several nice tonal low tops but they all use the new Lunar AF1 sole that I'm not a fan of. Is it just me or are yall not digging anything either?
