It's not that odd that they're getting them late. When it comes to limited stuff they usually don't have the opportunity of buying them, but then if competition gets the chance, they do too. So, since they bought them late they get them later than everyone else. Has happened a few times in the past.
Regardless though, if they're all going to stores and none to their warehouse then all pairs that hit online that are ordered will be sent to stores, and since all stores will sell out before the store can pick the online order, the odds are slim that any orders placed online will actually ship.
