First time i'm going to Las Vegas, all I care about is boozing for the low VOL play the tables?

So i'm going to LV this weekend, staying at Planet Hollywood.
I hate clubs, never cared for Vegas or the experience. With that said, i'd like to get booze for as cheap as possible. My boy was going to go, he plays the tables, and I was going to leech off of him by sitting in the next chair playing the occasional hand, but he can't make it.

Now i'm off to find a method to do it on my own. I'm not much of a gambler aside from my days of hittin' licks shooting dice back in HS

I've read to make a big buy-in of at least $100, and tip $5 on the first drink to show her you're not a bum who won't tip, giving them $1 every drink afterward. I also read to ask for bottled beer since they overwater down their mixed drinks

What to play to get the most returns from a waitress? How much to tip?

I searched beforehand and all I got were dudes arguing over how LV is or isn't a good place to live VS it being just for fun

You don't have to gamble to get cheap beer, you can find cheap drinks a lot of places. If you do want to gamble, what you said is pretty much dead on.

I always tip $1 every drink I get, and when they drop off a drink I ask for another one on their way back. Some will bring another one, some wont. If they dont mind bringing one on their way back, they might not mind bringing a shot and a beer at the same time either.

try playing video poker at a casino bar. bartender will tell you how much to put in so you can get your free drink on.

planet Hollywood is my favorite place to gamble, I just play the roulette table all my bets are either black or red I count the frequency on the screen and make a smart guess... BAM!!! winner (I don't even tip these broads) just keep moving from table to table maybe one buck thats it.

I just don't find LV interesting, i'd rather waste my money other ways. If I weren't being dragged out there I wouldn't have a need for this thread
