Florida School Shooting, Over 20 Casualties

Just saw a video of kids crying, dead bodies and cops escorting them out of the school on FB.

Soooooo much I want to say but I feel that it would detract from the loss of these kids lives and what their families are going through.

folks will just used hand guns instead. that VA killer only had hand guns and held da record for most dead until las vegas.

So what you are saying is if the restrictions were in place the Last Vegas shooting could have been prevented or been less deaths?

umm no.

pay attention b, imma say it one more time. if you restricted assault riles, killers will merely use something else in its place, mitigating whatever effectiveness restrictions wouldve had.

columbine happened during da era of da 1990's assault weapons ban...basically had no effect whatsoever.

da number 1 killer in da US is hand guns, and those ain't ever gonna get banned.
 
Can we stop arguing over guns.

It's too big of a deal to solve over night.

Can we all agree that mandatory security check points and every entrance at the school.

1 armed guard + metal detector.

We have this at basically every corporate office in America yet schools are still left out in the cold.

WHY?

Everything you are telling me says that if the shooter didn't have this gun then hedh have this other gun which tells me that if the Vegas dude had a pistol he would have killed far less people
 
this literally hurts my heart. As a mother and parent it such a scary feeling knowing that you can send your kid to school and that they may never come back. A place that is supposed to keep them safe cant even do that. I know we cant protect our kids from everything but home schooling looks better and better with every passing day...RIP to all those little angels that lost their life :frown:
 
Some of the students stories are crazy.

A pe teacher died trying to protect some kids.
A geography teacher died in the doorway of his class while they were in there.

Something has to change
 
I am very upset and sad by what happened. What happened so far this year already. As a parent now, this is crazy. As Americans we have grown immune to shootings now as if it’s a normal thing. I don’t support guns period. It’s starts at home where parents need to be parents and stop worrying about other people or what’s on social media. Be there for your kid/kids and hopefully one day they have the opportunity that you did not have. That’s what America is all about. Happy Chinese New Year
