I'm assuming to get them to fit the bag better. 2nd time it happened to me but the box is ripped at each corner. I had to tape it back to get some decent shape back

FNL's runner shoe account is probably the largest out of all the chains. I hope they stay put for that reason alone. Foams being added to their inventory will be nice as well.
