Then changed 2-3 more times after that too, to the current mold

I believe when they moved production from Taiwan to China starting in 2010

I think the 2010 Eggplants were the first pair affected

Yes, 2010 is when they stopped being made in Taiwan. Never been the same sadly

I was tripping earlier, here are the Made in Taiwan 2005 Silvers (Left) next to Made in Taiwan 2007 Silvers (Right)
Hard to tell in pictures. But the right (07) is more matte and also if you get really close it looks like they are also almost like porous? Where the 05 has a more solid coating or color over it. You can feel it in person

The DS eBay pair probably won’t be in for a while since it’s coming from Japan but these will do until then

They're immaculate and I'm glad that worked out for you. One reason I hate stockx is because of how they define deadstock. I had some issues w them before buying and selling 15+ year old Nikes. Storage marks are inevitable and something buyers and sellers are aware of that, but they failed me because of that twice.

The thing I hated most about the mold switch is how when you had them on feet the was a space between in inner bootie/tongue and the bottom of the eyestays

Made it look like you were wearing 2 sizes too big.

The Taiwan pairs fit flush

Yeah these actually have a small mark on the back where the material is chipped but it’s no biggie. I’m usually super picky on foams when it comes to the nubuck and scuffs but I also have to remind myself that these are from 1997 and typically won’t be perfect

Lmao. I got a couple more pairs. I don’t have any where near all of them. I don’t have most of the more expensive pairs, just because I refuse to pay for them. Not that I can’t, I just don’t.
So I have what I like, rather than chasing every pair like I used to
