I just got my pair from the Nike shock drop (100% thought the Sunday delivery was a glitch until they came), and I can’t say I’m loving the shame & how long they look, especially in the middle area of my pair where they basically look like they were stretched out…

I didn’t think I believed the shape was that bad, I did notice the shape in some pics but thought it was the angle.

Now I’m undecided on keeping these, and that’s unfortunate smh

yes lol this is from an official nike media event unveiling fall 2024 and spring 2025 releases. If you look at the IG post it mentions all of that.

Everything about the 2017 is better and those aren't even very good. Wife sent me these pics since I'm still at work. I can't believe how bright that blue is. Almost metallic like the red pair and Suns pair. The toebox is so bulbous. Part of me wants to keep them so at the very least I have a wearable pair for the foreseeable future but man, these are so bad compared to what we thought we were getting from that SNKRS preview.

I actually got rid of my 07 and 11 pairs a few months ago due to sole separation. The 07 were fantastic. I still have my OG pair but those are in really bad shape. Wouldn't be worth using those for a comparison.

My pair comes in today. I’m sure I’ll be happy with them. We must remember that the OG was made for actual performance! These retros will never be made to OG caliber ever again. I was fortunate enough to wear a pair in 97’ a few times when my friend a I switched shoes during gym class. Foams haven’t felt the same ever since

You should be able to get another 5 years before the sole might separate.

2017 should be solid.

My 07 pair only started peeling last year. The entire toe cap came off to the mid-foot on one shoe while I was getting ready to leave the house. So ~16 years of casual wear.
