Got my penny pack for $350 plus tax but it took some work.
Day 1: Prelude
Took my mom in-law to the airport and figured id check the outlet near there since its friends and family this weekend.
Got to the outlet and promptly saw a size 9.5 penny pack behind the counter
but then i saw a slip of paper on it. :x
Asked the dude and he said it was on hold for someone.
Looked around the store some then ended up at the counter since i was returning my extra gold foams (lord knows y i thought i needed doubles).
Chatted with dude and he was real chill. So i was like was it on hold for an employee (so i could go rap with dude) or a customer (so i could make some moves) and dude said it was a customer.
Then he was like "the dude didn't seem like he really wanted the pack so check back tomorrow."
We chatted a bit more and he was like call back at 9pm the next day (right before close) and see if i can put them on hold for Saturday.
Day 2: I Holla
Set my alarm for 8:55pm and I am glad i did because i was playing video games and lost track of time. Called and they put them on hold for me.
Day 3: Success
Called to confirm they were still there
Got there and saw a dude i had actually purchased some shoes from that works there. Dude actually told me the customer's card was declined so he was like he wanted to put them on hold. They put them on hold but figured dude wasn't coming back. I personally think dude went home and saw no resell value so was like forget it especially since his funds was on E. The employee was also like a few people had put the packs on hold and that they thought about copping but no one actually pulled the trigger. Good for me
Moral:
Just chat with dudes.... at first they may be disengaged but a chill customer can get results more times than not. The employee told me what was good and how to make it happen. Wouldn't have gotten the pack without him.
