Nice pick up! That’s the 04 version right? I hated those so much when they 1st came out. That was a time in my life where I didn’t vibe w/ solid black sneakers, except for the barkleys that came out the year before. If these ever retro them now, they’ll be a day 1 cop for sure!

These are the 00s, I think besides the 97s there is 2000,2002, and 2004? That’s what I gathered from browsing GOAT. For some reason I completely forgot about the 2002 release

Wow, never even realized the black pros came out in 2000. Ive seen plenty of 04’s, but I think your pair is the 1st pair from 00’ that I’ve ever seen. Man some of ya’ll definitely know your history. What a great cop!

I had the all foam pros in 04. They were like my go to shoe in my 11th Grade year . So comfortable and durable. I remember they were sitting on shelves for months here in PG county. $170 was hefty for people to pay for some shoes back then.
