I don't think I've ever put hot sauce on a cold sandwich.
I'll try that next time.

There's a whole bunch of holly penios under the lettuce tho

Good question.

I'm honestly not sure.
I think it would detract from certain sandwiches for me like an Italian sub or a cheessteak.

And the only time I ever put hot sauce on a sandwich is firehouse subs because it's delicous and on the table.

Banh Mi tacos in the works:
0-1.jpg

Dressing made, pickles resting (I opted for watermelon radish over daikon), and meat seasoned with five spice and a light amount of salt (holding back because there's gonna be fish sauce and soy sauce in the braising liquid). Just gotta prep the vegetables/spices for the braise and we're in business.

I miss living near Westminster/Garden Grove man ...

3 banh mis for $9 specials :frown:
How much are the banh mi these days in S.J.?
went last week to grab some at Duc Huong in Sac and that thing is like $4.50. used to be around $3.00...Its all good tho. I don't mind the price increase if its still a good sandwich.
