A lot of my Jamaican friends dont care much for jerk chicken or ackee and saltfish, not how i do but i get it. Its a regular thing for them. Every bbq they have jerk chicken, sunday mornings ackee and saltfish. Whereas for me its not my culture so i seldom have it and definitely wasnt something we had in my hoise growing up.
