FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

I'm OCD when it comes to stuff like that
I try to get every piece off the top
Leaving it like that would drive me crazy lol

Buy this sauce and tell me any other way to open it that isn't frustrating.

You know how containers like this have the cardboard barrier on top hang over a little bit so you can peel it off? Whoever designed this container was like f*** it.

It’s actually very common at Thai restaurants but they sometimes add raisins, shrimp and cashews or peanuts.

I keep it simple with chicken. I would’ve done crushed peanuts if I had some. I scooped the pineapple out and then used that in the rice. I went to a Thai restaurant in Kingstowne years ago and this is how they served it. Been in love since.

Cashews happen to be the only nuts I like on my food. I usually get pad thai without the peanut sprinkle.

I've had raisins in a really good paella. Gives it a really nice sweet flavor.

I might try to recreate this Literal pineapple fried rice.

its like buying any ripe fruit i guess...i just cut it in half. made a rectangle inside then just started scooping.

Fair enough. I usually eat my pineapple slightly unripe. I guess I could just buy one and let it sit for a while.

Not sure why three lanes would be dedicated to mobile orders though.
