FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

My late dinner on Friday evening were basically finished products that only had to be heated to eat. Some Bob Evans macaroni and cheese. A frozen sundried tomato pesto tilapia that I baked.

Lol, it's just a funny little birthday 6 months before or after the actual one. I saw something I wanted to casually gift to him & figured since it's close enough I'll give it to him on his "half birthday". Anything to put a smile on his adorable little face + another excuse to party & eat cake 🎂 😎.
That’s pretty cool never heard of that might use it for sure. Seems like a Funcle like me salute

Dinner earlier at Jackson Diner in Jackson Heights, Queens,NY. I had the sabudana aloo Tikka for appetizers. It's basically potatoe patties with tapioca & spices. Some papad & manchurian in the mix too.

We had their saag, mixed protein sizzling platter, cheese kulcha with raita & regular naan & malai kofta. All the food was amazing & had a perfect blend of spices. I've had their food before a few times but never dined-in.

🔥 post. How were those cinnamon rolls? That scenery is amazing. The crisp mountain air must be so refreshing.

I think i'm about over the hot chicken thing, especially since their focus is mainly tenders.
fax it’s been exhausted and the recipes aren’t unique enough to warrant one place over the other. also aren’t really cheap.
they are good but def need to have the whole chicken too.

it’s a great business model to only serve chicken tenders but it gets boring.
canes is an anomaly that the lack of unique seasoning makes it easy to be a go to meal for the average consumer

I’m not a “big canes guy”.

I’m just here to keep the conversation about Canes reasonable.

It’s far from trash.

It’s actually pretty good.

NT has a habit of declaring things trash or God.

There’s levels to this chicken game.

I agree, it’s a chicken tender that’s decent.

NT thinks they need a James beard award to be edible.

They also think if you like it you eat it daily.
