Was given sourdough starter so have been messing with that lately. Freestyled a pizza dough this morning with some of the sd discard

Have to say, for same day dough the flavor is crazy. Need to figure out exactly how to modify recipes using it

NYE food hopping. Went to Coney Island, Brooklyn to a Pakistani coffee place called Grizzly Coffee. I had the egg burger which has a brioche bun with Shami kabab, egg, onion, cabbage & homemade sauce. It was so good.

Also tried the Rasmalai Tres Leches. Never had rasmalai in this style before so it was a delicious surprise & def appreciated. After that we went to another spot in Brooklyn called Amai Bà for gulab jamun ice-cream. Gotta be honest it was trash. Flavor profile was off & pretty tasteless.

From there I finally got myself to this

spot called Ignazio's. Been meaning to come here for years now. Very picturesque location being next to the Brooklyn Bridge. OneBite gave them an 8.7. Def deserves that monster score.

Do you have a big family that lives within your same area? I am impressed that yall are able to be out and about so often as a unit. I really respect that. Has it always been this way?
