If you use it as a Marinade, it is used straight.
If you are using it as a FInishing Sauce ( # ), sure, mix it

If you’re in a time crunch you can cook up some chicken thighs on the stove and toss a scoop of that in and cut it with some water at the end when the chicken is cooked to coat it like a sauce.
throw that over some rice and you’ll be good.

Seasoned chicken with creole seasoning and blackening seasoning. Cooked on 400 for 30 mins
Melted butter, cooked garlic in butter for about a minute then added flour and cooked for an additional minute
Added cream. Let it boil then added the cheeses
This is the sauce thickened
I dont mix my sauce with pasta all at once. Leftovers are dry so i do this in a separate pan
