Mehndi event for my cousin's wife's brother earlier at Antun's by Minar in Hicksville, Long Island NY. With all the dancing & music going on these mofos didn't serve the food till midnight .

Mainly chicken & meat dishes. Korma, karahi, for apps they had fried cauliflower & some chicken dish. All the food + naan was amazing. Gulab Jamun for dessert

I had the lemon one the other day it was good but it’s chilled so I didn’t get that underbaked cookie thing I love

I also got the Kentucky butter cookie. That was good TO ME but I also love sweets that don’t have a whole lot going on. The base cookie dough was delicious but the toppings didn’t have much flavor

Kentucky butter cake is probably my favorite cake. Just hella butter and sugar.

I don't know about Indian weddings as I've never been to any but all Pakistani Mehndi & weddings are the same. They're all in the same 3 or 4 popular wedding venues in NY that are well-known in the brown communities, same pink-ish white lighting, same food caterers, same outfits, same Indian/Pakistani songs & music too, lol. The good 'ole rinse & repeat formula. Go all out on the food when you find yourself at the next Indian wedding you're at. You're invited to mine when the day comes, I got you .
