Yeah Steven A TRIPPIN trippin on this Take. In the NBA, stars without head coaching experience can get fast tracked. Derek Fisher, Isaiah Thomas, Derek Fisher, the list goes on. If Kobe wanted to coach the Lakers a couple years after he retired, the job was his. Nash didn’t EXPLICITLY get the job because he is white. He got the job because he is a hall of fame 2 time league MVP with plenty of qualifications to be considered a quality hire.

my only issue with Nash getting the job is he has not done anything basketball related in the recent years. He doesn't deserve the gig IMO

I think if you are a superstar point guard, let alone a hall of famer, you deserve any job in the nba. That holds more weight to me than being a video coordinator or something like that.

I agree Nash didn't earn this job Patrick Ewing, J Howard, Mark Jackson plenty of former black players put in time trying to get a job coaching. However Nash gets this gig, if the players did infact sign off on him getting the job good. However his time will be quick, it takes a very tough personality to get along with Kyrie nevermind getting along with Durant. I am curious what kind of "offense" he plans to run, some kind of off shoot of Mike D from Phoenix.
I believe the consensus was Ty Lue was a better fit for this job, but players might have said no. He also might have his eye on the Philly gig, Doc got past the first round so his job is safe in the immediate future. I thought that was Ty's preferred location and he was just waiting it out.

A LOT of Florida residence are with NY transplants or off spring of NYCers. Because of that, Florida is plagued “fake up north *****”. Either they have relatives up there, move and come back trying to hoop in Timbs, or they try to embellish the fact they’re from NY. Cats will say they from Brooklyn and be from Nyack like a muh fuh.

he doesn't. He loves soccer and the team Tottenham. just based off that he was given a pundit job for an important european footy tournament on TNT/BR. He wasn't good at all but then again no one else was on the panel because they are american. good thing we could switch to the mexican channels. We're actually glad he's gone and you guys have him back and busy. no take backs
