Seasoning it while its in the oil just makes it fall off and burns the seasoning in the oil turning it black. Plus if you fry chicken just off the eye test you wont be able to see it turn golden brown cuz it'll burn quick and turn black as well.

Not really, people like to make their own definition of "clean" for jokes, but common sense it's really just soaking it in some vinegar or something acidic, which he himself just said kills salmonella.

That's what I'm saying though. It was alarming how many people think rinsing their chicken under the faucet was doing anything. In fact, it's really just increasing chances of salmonella infection.
