Personally I'm skeptical of all medical practices
It doesn't have to be firsthand experience that messes with people's heads or creates biases. Think about listening to people's problems, trauma etc all day that will do something to anyone. With nurses/medical doctors they can become jaded/desensitized seeing & hearing all types of crazy stuff 12 hours a day.
I binged this show in 2020 and she seems good. She has her own therapist/colleague that she talks to.
Showtime recreated her office inside a studio to get those shots and that feel
