I was curious as well. I’m not a gambler, so my presumption was that those chips are useless unless they’re being cashed in at the casino of origin. I just don’t see the end game.

I could see this. Slightly inclined to believe those things are numbered, or marked in some way though. Seems like a huge oversight if that’s not the case. I’m sure the dealers and cage cashiers could conceive of some plot to make off with some if there weren’t some deterrent.
