HUDSON RECORDS’ YOUTUBE INTERNET SENSATION 50 TYSON GIVES CHECK TO LOCAL
AUTISM SPEAKS ORGANIZATION ON BEHALF OF HIS FOUNDATION RHYTHM OF AUTISM
JANUARY 6, 2011 - MINNEAPOLIS, MN. - Hudson Records, Inc.’s (Hudson Records is a subsidiary corporation of Troy E. Hudson Enterprises, Inc.) You Tube internet sensation 50 Tyson has plenty to celebrate this year. Best known for gaining 12 million views on You Tube in 3 days with his song "I Ain't Gonna Lie", his recent release of his first mixtape I Ain't Gonna Lie, I'm 50 Tyson which was hosted and promoted by 50 Cent's DJ – DJ Whoo Kid, and the launch of his new organization, Rhythm of Autism, Inc. That's a lot to happen to a 17 yr. old high school student in one academic year.
50 Tyson has autism; a neurological brain disorder that affects the way an individual sees the world. 50 Tyson hasn’t let autism stand in the way of fulfilling one of his dreams, the dream of becoming a rap star. He is currently signed as a recording artist with Hudson Records, a independent record label based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota; also, the hometown to 50 Tyson. Hudson Records has developed a line of 50 Tyson apparel in which, portions of the proceeds go toward his autism mission.
Last month, 50 Tyson performed a benefit concert in support of Autism Speaks to help improve the future for everyone who struggles with autism. "Autism Speaks and the Minnesota Walk Now for Autism Speaks volunteers are thrilled to support Antonio Henderson-Davis, aka 50 Tyson, as he pursues his dreams in the music industry. This is a wonderful opportunity to increase awareness and education about autism spectrum disorder to a section of the Twin Cities population that may not typically visit our Autism Speaks web site or participate in our local walk events. By focusing on personal strengths and abilities to realize his true potential in this world, 50 Tyson is a wonderful inspiration" states Keith Graunke, Director, Regionally Supported Walk Events – Midwest for Autism Speaks.
