For chihuahua owners....

We have a 1yr old chihuahua male and I just caught him last week eating his own poop and I read that some chihuahuas do this for whatever sick reason but Iwant to know if anyone has dealt with this issue and what did you do to help your dog out. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

google says to go to the vet. some people sprinkle something that they got from the vet onto their dog's food to make them dislike the taste of poop. ihave a chihuahua that's a bit over 2 years old, i've never seen him do this lol. but yeah just give your vet a call just to be safe.

why not just clean it up so your dog doesnt have the opportunity to eat it
