Never thought I would say this especially after all the early critic bashing but I actually liked this better than civil war.

Impossible. Maybe you went with a group and fed off their energy? You had a drink/smoke or something beforehand? Just got laid? Have an off button somewhere on your head? You like corny cheese? Never read the comics?

Help me understand. :lol

This movie was straight trash. The whole time I could not get passed Apocalypse's look whenever he was on screen. He looked like a straight clown and couldn't take him serious. Nothing about him looked intimidating. Mystique also looked low budget compared to previous movies. Having her lead the X-Men :| Archangel dying in a plane crash :{ The movie was filled with inconsistencies and plot holes. Typical foX-Men movie. No way is this better than Civil War. Matter of fact I wouldn't even put it above DOFP. And that movie was average to me.

I'm disappointed if any hardcore xmen fan went and watched it..

not sure why expectations should be higher on/for singer's 4th xmen film

apocalypse is too strong in da comics for him to neatly fit in 1 movie...that was what i think is da major problem.

A hardcore fan will see anything and everything of said subject.

Then proceed to pick the hell out of it. :lol

Honestly, knew it would be trash. Had no choice as it was either this morning showtime or go dress shopping with girls for a wedding.

nah.. my childhood was xmen, transformers & TNMT (and gi joe)..

I wont be watching anything from those 3 until serious changes are made

See amel found another to latch on to.

Cw was good. I still personally think it wasbt better that tws. But this movie was what it was and if you look pass the nerf they gave apocalypse it was well put together.
Wolvies part was out of place.. but still a fun scene to watch. Very similar to the way he put in work on X2.

The more i look back the more i like this movie and put it above first class. Possibly even dofp.

Jlaw is annoying. But my hate isnt for her just because of this charachter it extends to other roles

Lol what do yall want. U got some people saying move on the future than the rest saying lets keep it 90s. Theme. What will be the better movie????
The best movie would be set in a different universe.

More realistically, if you get rid of Kinberg and Singer, FOX still may not want to do a reboot so continue from there. Bring back some of the cast ignore a lot of past continuity and just do a movie set in the 90s.

If I was doing it with those guidelines with a movie based on what's been hinted at and rumors it'd be the X-Men having some conflict in space with the Shi'Ar, maybe throw in some Brood as a side threat. Like they attack their ship on the way to their planet trying to infect Jean. It'd be about them believing Jean is a threat as a potential Phoenix host. Some force kidnaps her, Lilandra tries to warn them, they chase, both get attacked by the Brood, under D'Kenn's orders they're forced to go to Chandilar. More fighting, escape, fighting, Phoenix.

Magneto would not be in the main story. Mystique will totally get rebooted as antagonist villain she's suppose to be that's mentioned in the movie regarding suspected criminal activity in Madripoor. She wouldn't be in this movie at all.

Xavier would be in it mainly trying to be a mediator and macking on Lilandra. It'd be hinted a few times he and Moira didn't work, she leaves the CIA (or not) to head up a mutant program in Scotland (or Ireland I forget where she's from) that trains young mutants and cares for mutants whose powers make it so they can't function in the real world.

D'Ken says he wants Jean dead but he really wants to harness the Phoenix's power by using the M'Krann crystal. They try to take her. Imperial guard fights the X-Men on the planet. They try to escape and crash land on the Earth's moon [emoji]127769[/emoji].

I think the team should be who we saw in this last movie with a new Kitty and new Wolverine on it. The main lead is Jean with Scott being super protective as her bf and team leader, and Storm being 2nd in command.

Back on Earth [emoji]127758[/emoji], some foul **** happens with sentinels or on Genosha with mutant slaves that fully makes Magneto the antagonist from here on out. He forms his Brotherhood and starts on his terrorist grind. Blob, Sabertooth, teenage Rogue, Toad I guess, Mastermind, Frenzy, and Pyro.

It ends with a hint of dark Phoenix now that Jean is fully Phoenix. The Crystal warps the entire universe allowing for w/e happened in the last 3 movies not to matter. Xavier and Magneto will be "younger" again cuz of this. Apocalypse never happened, that was actually the lame *** Living Monolith. It's revealed Moira was pregnant when she left and had twin boys, Legion and Proteus who are like 10-12 yrs old (so basically Xavier banged right after the last movie a few times, probably used that drug so his legs could work). She doesn't tell Charles cuz well **** him she blocked 20 years of memories from her mind.

Next movie would be in present day.

I vote they pull a 'deadpool', retain some of the actors.. and let other people take over creative control

and by some, I mean fassbender, mcavoy and Oscar Isaac.. could care less about the rest

I'd set the reboot in the present.. magneto is in jail, professor having helped the government put him there.. government is aware of mutants, but it isn't really out there publically  other than farfetched 'stories'.. but you can see the mutant population is gradually growing  (cell phone footage, youtube videos, all that stuff)

professor has a small group of kids (the original group), that he's helping out and live in the mansion.. could do a better job fleshing out certain characters backgrounds (like angel)

for the first film, you don't start with magneto or any of the really big bads (jugs, sinister or apocalypse).. probably could use someone like sauron.. he beats the kids initially, but finally the team works together and takes him out.. then tease the sentinels program, could also make mentions or weapon x

2nd movie, team members are getting missions.. they show the political side of things, with beast going to senate hearings after what took place in the 1st film going public.. show public outrage and fear

- could have minor mutant characters and then have jugs as the big bad guy.. also have sentinels attacking mutants

- could also could have subplots with colossus fighting omega red.. xmen having to go to Russia to help him out.. him joining the team (this could be done with a lot of the characters, like storm and nightcrawler).. show the professor using cerebro to help mutants in trouble from themselves or others and the xmen being sent to help them out and give them a safe place

3rd movie, group of bad mutants lead by mystique (if you want to keep Jennifer Lawrence around) go and break out magneto to help them deal with the xmen.. so you have mags lead the brotherhood vs xmen

- with mystique showing back up, then you can introduce rogue

- could throw something with gambit/mr sinister, nothing huge just something to build on

Well damn. But that sounds like the best course of action
I actually had a much better idea imo back when I thought DOFP was gonna be good and really reset things that involved a F4 crossover (before that bad F4 movie came out) based on a Skrull/Shi'Ar war quintology. After that, there's be an Age of Apocalypse trilogy for the X-Men.

da wolverine director, & da Deadpool director im feeling better to take over da main X-men Franchise...but gutting da current continuity for another reboot after days of future past is ridiculous....

i thought after Deadpool's runaway success it would bring nore uniformity within da fox marvel universe.

Well like I said I'd prefer the cleaner ditching of this universe and just setting the movies in a new one but with a few similarities. That other take is an in story explanation and not rebooting immediately.

DOFP really should've just been a better reboot cuz I had problems with FC. Mystique as a mutant freedom fighter does not work.

Worst case scenario is Singer directing this next trilogy.

i would love if they just do a straight CGI movie like they do Final Fantasy. No way I could see that movie failing in the box office.

Mystique as a mutant freedom fighter does not work.

thats what she's always been...word to her taking Rogue under her wing and training her along with pyro in da cartoon..

da only thing that bugs me is no one has established da fact that she smashed Azazel after first class & birthed Nightcrawler..
