You definitely seemed confused on a few thing with that "got it" post. Straight up talking about things I aint do or didn't say.

There tends to be a leap in your assumptions with my opinion of an opinion and you claiming ppl are telling ppl they are wrong for having a different opinion and that I or others want everybody to hate the movie.

I've caught up with this thread, I see nothing wrong with the opinion if you liked this movie you have low standards.

Aint see somebody say you're blind if you liked the movie.

Name some names or quote them posts. I ain't seeing multiple posts where you can pinpoint a group trying to convince ppl they shouldn't like the movie or they're wrong for liking it.

Finally saw a good enough stream. Movie wasn't bad. There was just nothing good about it at all. Mostly boring and uninteresting. I have no interest in the future of these films. If DOFP is the high point, then I have no hopes anymore.

These cbm's need to stop having these prequel settings in the beginning of the movies. I was more interested in Apocalypse's world before all the present **** happened. Felt the same way with Ant-Man and especially MOS.

Apocalypse was a waste. Bruh did nothing but talk. If you got kids beating apocalypse, imagine what they gon do as adults. No foe gon stop em at all 

Felt like this movie was been there done that. Quicksilver scene was ok, but we already saw it. Wolverine going berserk was cool, but we saw it. Didn't gain anything by seeing that scene.

Thematically speaking, they need to move on. I understand that it's pretty much what the X-men is all about. But there needs to be more than only humans not understanding/hating mutants. It can be a theme that resonates throughout everything that happens throughout a movie, but it needs to no longer be the main thing. Like Trask creating Sentinels due to his fear of mutants cool, but we don't need to hear constant dialogue from Charles / Xavier about how he sees the good in people and how Magneto doesn't. We get it. It's their ideology. At this point, show, don't tell.

The progression of Mystique and Magneto is bothering me a bit. Especially Magneto. It is my understanding that although the timeline is erased, he will grow into the Magneto we saw in X1. Not the exact him, but a version of him. It seems like although they changed the timeline, the path is still inevitable, seeing how Wolverine still managed getting captured. Magneto is still going to grow into who we know him as. If killing his family doesn't do it, it's like what will then? I don't know what else more can happen to him to turn him fully evil. Mystique as well. Like, the progression is a problem for me.

Other than that, I can't think of anything else to say. This movie is forgettable. Even more then BVS. BVS had parts that stood out that you will remember once their universe launches fully. This one, I can't say, aside from the credits scene. I think I officially have X-Men fatigue. There needs to be a hard reboot for this franchise to recover.

Fictional Superhero/Action/Fantasy/Sci-fi movie standards really.

I'll put it like this, if you thought F4 and BvS were "not that bad" movies go watch this, you'll probably love it but if you weren't really in to the past X-Men movies and would never watch Transformers you can watch the bootleg online or wait a year until it's on cable.

The reason it seems that way is cuz the writer/director can fill those 15 min of back story/flashback with all the cool interesting **** they can. They never have to worry about executing the plot for a 2hr/90min movie. Its all preamble to establish facts they won't have to go over with exposition later in the movie.

I didn't care as much for Apocalypse cuz to me Singer got it all wrong. I get what you mean with Ant-Man, I would totally watch a movie with Pym, Stark, and Carter being the founders of Shield.

I totally felt that way for MOS though. I could've stayed on Krypton watching Russell Crowe go to work on flying beasts for 3hrs but it's Snyder so he probably would've ****** that up too.

There needs to be a hard reboot for this franchise to recover.

My hope diminished with First Class and died with DofP.

Can't deny at the very least it's possible Singer and Kinberg can be done for good and to me that alone would be a change for the better. I mean it's 16 years and counting. If WB can smarten up and move around the right ppl and give them more authority and creative control to try and fix their movies and Sony can fail so much that they smarten up and give Spidey back to Marvel then Fox can change too.

The president at Fox studios just needs to discover they're leaving hundreds of millions if not billions on the floor. If there's any hope left it's that they (everybody at Fox studios) don't have low standards too.
