The wife of former drug dealer Frank Lucas was arrested Wednesday (May 19th) in San Juan, Puerto Rico, after she allegedly sold 2 kilograms of cocaine to an informant at a hotel.
Julianna Farrait, 70, was being recorded on May 11th, when she told the informant that she had two kilos of cocaine for sale and that another contact had an additional eight kilos to be unloaded.
Farrait set up a second meeting in the Isla Verde and attempted to sell the two kilos to the informant. After the transaction, DEA agents raided the hotel room and took the woman into custody.
Agents had been tracking Farrait since February of 2009, according to reports.
Farrait is married to Frank Lucas, the heroin dealer whose life was portrayed by Oscar-Award winning actor, Denzel Washington in the 2007 flick American Gangster.
Ironically, Farrait was played by Puerto Rican actress

Farrait served 5 years in prison after being arrested in 1975, for her role in Lucas’ heroin operation.
